I’m a satire writer - articles, prizewinning short stories, and novels.

Satire pokes fun at sacred cows, trends or attitudes. Things we can all relate to and laugh about.

On a good day, it also prompts deeper thought and questions about why things are the way they are.

But if all I achieve is to make people smile and have a brighter day, then that’s okay too. No one has ever suggested there’s too much happiness in the world.

I post regular articles here to get stuff out of my system and hopefully into other people’s.

I’m also a marriage celebrant, based in Perth, Western Australia, injecting a little cheeky humour into people’s wedding day. After all, everyone has stories.
